Toddlers and preschoolers love to learn new things and play games. I made a fruit matching game printable that your child will find fun! Plus they will be learning how to find similarities and differences in objects. If you use it as a memory game, you can also help your child improve their short term memory.
How to Use the Fruit Matching Game Printable
These cards can be used for a matching game for toddlers, and then as a memory game as your child grows.
For best quality print on cardstock. Print twice so that you will have 2 of each card. Cut out all of the cards.
Matching Game for Toddlers or Preschoolers:
Separate around 5-7 matches from the cards. (You can increase the number when your child is ready.)
Separate the deck so that you have one half of each match face up on the table.
Place the other cards in a stack face down.
Have your child flip over a card from the stack, and find its match from the cards that are face up.
Memory Game:
Mix up all the cards and lay them face down in rows.
Turn over any 2 cards of your choosing. If your cards match, keep them. If they do not, turn them back over.
Keep playing till all the cards have been matched. The person with the most matches wins.
