Free Printable Number Worksheets 1-10
Looking for free number recognition activities? These number worksheets are perfect for teaching your preschoolers or kindergarteners their numbers. They also feature planets so this would be a fun time to introduce those too. (A fun planet book is My Book of Stars and Planets. It is full of vibrant pictures and fascinating facts.)
How to Use the Worksheets
Have your child (or student) count the number of planets first. Then they can trace the big number. Then they can trace the smaller numbers.
If you feel your child may need some help, you can ask them how many planets there are. If they count them, then that is awesome. If they can’t, you can count them while you point at each planet. After you count them you can point out how the number looks (See the number 5?). Tell them they can now trace the number.
Lastly, have your child color the planets. If they are interested you can show them how the planets really look before they color. A fun planet book is My Book of Stars and Planets. It is full of vibrant pictures and fascinating facts.
