Need some cheap gift ideas for teenage girls? I’ve got you covered!
I love shopping for teenage girls (probably because of my sweet daughters!). After nearly 20 years of living with girls and watching my budget, I feel qualified to offer this teenage girl gift guide. Here are some of my favorite inexpensive gifts for a teenage girl.

Inexpensive Gifts for a Teenage Girl
1. Phone Case
This beautiful phone case has great reviews on Amazon. It is fashionable enough for a younger or older teen. It offers full body protection, and also has raised edges to prevent screen and camera getting scratched even face down. The case has precise cutouts that make the buttons easy to click and you can charge the phone without removing the case.
Popsockets are awesome little inventions. My daughter loves hers. She says it makes her phone feel a lot more secure in her hands and she can hold her phone with only one hand instead of two. Popsockets offer a secure grip so you can text with one hand, snap better photos, and watch videos hands-free.
Here is a super cute way for a teenage girl to decorate her room! This photo hanging clips string can be used to hang anything lightweight like photos or artwork. The lights can be set to many different modes including chasing/flash, slow fade, twinkle/flash, and steady on.
This book might look boring, but it is anything but. Both of my daughters have thoroughly enjoyed this book. They are still working on it, and have been enjoying it for years! If the teen in your life is anything like my daughters, they will enjoy it all of their teenage years. It is a way to create without pressure-it is almost like a therapy session! Both of my girls had so much fun doing the prompts-they did things like collecting fruit stickers, covered a page with good thoughts, and traced their hands. There are also pages that say things like “infuse this page with a smell of your choosing”. My daughters used the black and white version, but there is now a color version available.
Your teen will love this super soft blanket for snuggling and watching TV together or just for relaxing. This faux fur blanket is warm and really soft.
6. Nordic Slipper with Memory Foam
These slippers have memory foam cushioned insoles and sneaker soles. You can wear them inside or out. They are fully lined in micro fleece to keep your feet super warm. I showed them to my teen daughter and she wanted them! I want these on my wish list as well!
These claw clips have great reviews-especially for girls that have thick hair. Large claw clips are in right now.
I bought one of these for my daughter. She loves all things journaling, and this is more than just a notebook. It has dotted grids, handwritten fonts, and doodle tutorials. Perforated pages make it easy to remove pages and display them. She is going to love this!
Hand lettering is all the rage right now. My daughter would have loved this book too as it goes perfectly with bullet journaling. It teaches five major hand-lettering styles, and it has practice pages so that you have space to master each style.
It also teaches how to mix different styles of handlettering, and how to combine text and illustration. The tutorials are said to be easy to follow-and the Amazon reviews seem to concur!
There are also project ideas and the book has full color illustrations and photos throughout.
10. Brush Pens
My teenage daughter loves these brush pens! They can be used for fine art, brush lettering, faux calligraphy, illustrations, water color illustrations, journaling and more! These pens have a fine tip on one side and a brush tip on the other side. The brush tip makes medium or bold strokes depending on how much pressure is applies. There is a blender pen included which softens and blends colors creating a watercolor effect.

11. Lap Desk
This lap desk is adjustable to 8 different angles. It has a space saving design and folds flat. The dual bolster pillows conform to your lap making the lab desk comfortable and stable. It can be used with laptops, iPad, and tablets, or it can be used for writing or drawing. My daughter is getting one of these! Shhhh……
If you want a more colorful option, check out this lap desk.

12. Vanity Mirror
This mirror is perfect for applying makeup or mascara. It has 1X and 3X magnification, and it rotates 360 degrees. It has a basic classic design, so it would match different decors.
I own this makeup storage case and really like it. It makes my makeup take up much less space. I am sure teen girls would love this stylish and modern storage case. It organizes makeup and brushes and keeps them beautifully displayed.
14. Mermaid Sequin Drawstring Bags
This drawstring bag is so cute! I think an older teen would like this color. There are also other colors like blue and purple that I think a younger teen would love.
The bag has magic reversible sequins and an internal zipper pocket to store keys, money and other small items. The cord on this bag is a thick one which makes it more durable. The length of the cord can be adjusted to fit different ages.

If your teen loves jewelry, this is an awesome gift to organize her jewelry. This jewelry organizer makes it easy to see everything and keeps jewelry from getting tangled together.
16. DIY Jewelry Kit
Jewelry making can be a whole lot of fun for teenage girls! This set has in depth instructions that highlight basic techniques so that you are able to branch out and create your own pieces. You will learn how to work with jewelry pliers and how to connect charms to chains and cording. Everything is included-you will be able to create 10 pieces of custom jewelry with this set!
17. The New Braiding Handbook: 60 Modern Twists on the Classic Hairstyle
This book teaches how to do all the newest braiding hairstyles. This is perfect for teens who like to do fun things with their hair. This book covers everything from elegant wedding styles to casual weekend hair styles.
18. Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron
I bought this flat iron for myself and it has worked great. This makes my hair straight and makes the texture look pretty. (I don’t use it all the time because I don’t want to use heat too often). This flat iron is inexpensive, but works as well as expensive flat irons!
Craftsy has all kinds of classes that teens would enjoy. They have beginner and advanced classes. The classes include sewing, crocheting, cake decorating, drawing, painting, jewelry making and more. You can join Craftsy for only $2.49 for the first year! (If you don’t want to renew your Craftsy membership for the second year, make sure to cancel the auto-renew).
20. Cork Board
This cork board is great for organizing photos, keepsakes or notes. It is also plain cute! 🙂 The design would match a lot of different decorating schemes. I like to have things like this so that my daughters hang stuff they want on a designated space instead of putting things on the walls.
21. Write It & Light It! Speech Bubble
This is a cute way for your teen to write their favorite ideas, quotes, or reminders. This lightbox will make their words pop! The surface wipes clean easily so that you can use the board again and again. It comes with its own dry erase marker. It can be freestanding or hung up on a wall.
22. Smiley Face Bag
Retro smiley faces are popular right now. This bag can be used as a makeup or travel bag. This bag is a good size and can hold a lot of items. It is made of super soft corduroy.

23. Teen Wall Art
This is a super cute and super cheap gift for a teen! You can get the printable wall art in my Etsy store here. Print it out on cardstock or get it printed at a print shop. Buy a cheap frame and put the print in the frame. Voila-cute cheap gift that a teen girl would love!
